Reading this as one of Halsey’s former-nineties-minions-turned-entrepreneur was more bitter than sweet. Not sure why.  Perhaps because as I read it I kept thinking about the incredible amount of daily passion you have to have to be an entrepreneur as successful as Halsey.  That said, I only knew him ephemerally, though he almost fired me once.  Oh, and I ended up playing twelve holes or so with him at the Presidio one time. Anyway, he taught me plenty and I would never bet against him. Here’s hoping our editors end up reviewing The Halsey Minor Hotel on HotelChatter and complete the circle.
